MW3 Console Will Not Play "Alert" Sounds

Got my MW3 console on launch day, and it still works great but I have 1 problem. I got a promotion at work, and got caught up in that and didn't touch my 360 for nearly 2 months. I come back today to play with some friends, but my MW3 Console will not play the "special" startup and eject sounds.

I used to do console repair for a living, but this one has me stumped. I am obviously not going to crack open a console I still have a warranty on, I am just wondering if anybody else has ran across this problem and know if there are any ways to troubleshoot it,

Thanks in advance!

Hey McShoop! I've heard of this happening when a console sits for a prolonged amount of time (such as 2 months), in these cases it has fixed itself or has sometimes been an issue with dust. I would suggest trying to clean the console. Also, I see you only unplug the console for 5 minutes, can you try unplugging for a full 24 hours to see if that makes a difference. Let us know how this works for you!
