MTU problem at college

I was able to sign on to Xbox LIVE this time last week at school. I took my Xbox home over thanksgiving, where it worked fine. Upon my return to school I attempted to sign on to Xbox live and got hit with an error saying that my MTU setting is too low and needs to be at least 1364. I then shut down my Xbox and unplugged my ethernet cable from both my xbox and the wall jack in my room and try to do a simple reset to fix the problem with no luck. We don't have individual modems or access to anything to change my MTU settings. My friends here at school have been able to sign on without a problem. I am just wondering if anyone out there is having a similar problem or if anyone knows how to fix it on my end. I could contact my school computing center to see about the issue but would rather try to fix it on my end first, if possible.

Hi,

MTU issues at college are usually down to registration issues:- www.unofficialguidetolive.co.uk/.../103-how-to-connect-to-xbox-live-at-uni-or-college

Or the college blocking Xbox live
