mtu error

i cant use my xbox live the connection keeps saying mtu error,?? how do i change it? its at 1354 i neeed it to be at 1500, i use to be able to change it before but now it does not allow me.ive called my internet which is bell and they are telling me to contact microsoft its not my xbob it has somthing to do with my connection and my mtu can someone pleasse help m,e

hello uruguay7,  sorry to hear about your MTU issue.  I've always been able to control mine through my router control page that I access from my internet browser by typing in the 12 digit ip number in the search box.  if your page has changed then you might need to download  new software from your router maker.

MTU errors are something simple to change.  It is typically a setting in your router.  It needs to be 1364 or above.  If it is above and not working with same issues try putting it to exactly 1364.  It is odd but it works.
