MTU error for Network mode "Mixed(N for xbox)

I have a wireless N adapter for my xbox 360 and a wireless N router (Linksys WRT160N). whenever i am on mixed network mode for my router (N for the xbox) i get a MTU error when i run the network test and i cant play black ops (get no server available error), but when i use "network mode: G Only" i get no errors and can play my games normally. Why does it do this? and is their a way to fix my N mode because i would like to take an advantage of my N adapter and N router.

Hi,

What version of firmware are you using on the WRT160N, And you are using the external black adapter is that right, not the internal Xbox360S one?

I'm afraid there's not much you can do about this apart from report it to Linksys if it gets reported they may fix it in a later release of firmware, you will see here that this happens on other routers as well:-

Out of interest what happens when you set the router to work in N only mode?

Well... to use N only all of your wireless devices must use N adapters. So I would do that change via wired Ethernet if your going to try it, just in case you cut yourself off.
