Moved country but can't change a account settings

I moved to New Zealnd from the UK and can't change my country on my Zune or Xbox account. Can anyone tell me how to get this done. I hate Microsoft.....

Hi there. Unfortunately there is no way to change the region information associated to your xbox LIVE account. It would be a good idea to create a new account with your new region information.

You cannot change the country that your Gamertag was entered when you went through the creation process. For example, you cannot change from the UK Dashboard that has UK content etc to the New Zealand dashboard with a Gamertag. Your gamertag will remain as it was in the UK.

You can sign into Passport.net and go into the Account Management and change your Local to New Zealand. However like I have mentioned above, everything on your XBOX 360 and the Xbox LIVE Dashboard will remain the UK.

i know how u feel same here 1 the they need to change cuz if u move to new country it stays the same

@drumer you can change you have to contact support to do so

and read the disclaimer about the forfeiture of some if not all dlc if you want the change

(region locked content specifically)

Hello there,

You should be able to change the Region.

But you will have to contact support to migrate your account to New Zealand.

It will be done manually, you will have to have a valid billing address.

Click here to contact support

You could make this change by requesting a Live chat.

The migration could take up to 6 Weeks, that 6 weeks your Xbox live account will be unavailable until the migration is done.

Region restricted contents will be removed .
