monitor, how to get sound

hey i am using a very basic computer monitor for the time being as my 360 dsiplay. the only input it has is vga. What is the cheapest way to go about getting sound for this setup?

I'm assuming it's next to your computer and you have separate computer speakers? Then plug the red and white cables, might require a splitter, into your computer.

I use a monitor without speakers and got the Turtle Beach headset PX5 and now I have sound.

What I do is use an audio receiver and hook it up with an optical digital audio wire. Obviously you need speakers to attach. I don't think there is any other way to do it.

The VGA cable has two red and white phono plugs. You can either plug them into an AV reciever or get adaptors so you can plug your PC speakers to it..
