Minecraft Dupe Glitch question?

I wouldn't have thought so. Its a game that is still in the beta stage so a few bugs and glitches will be there (since it is an earlier version).

personally i don't know. but all i'm gonna say, if you were worried enough to ask don't take the chance.

It is against Xbox Lives ToS, but it is VERY unlikely you will get banned from glitching on a single player game.

Don't understand why people just can't play games properly. So I hope it does end up in a suspension!

I love mining and finding huge caves, without this aspect i would no doubt get bored rather quickly

As soon as thay patch this the better, I hate glitchers, all thay do is make the game less fun :(

I really don't understand the attitude of some people. How does someone glitching in their own world affect you in the slightest? Glitching ruins MP based games - there is no doubt about that - but if it's not in your game nor affecting the leaderboards in any way then I fail to see why it matters.

Minecraft is an especially strange game to complain about seeing as it's a game based on being a sandbox that you can do anything in. As soon as the game is updated to version 1.8, creative mode will be available and everyone will be able to fly and make as many blocks of any kind as they wish. The current dupe glitch merely mimics this.

I agree with Akane, this guy glitching ruins nothing for anyone. As Akane rightly said, they are going to add creative mode which will allow people to have infinite items as it is. Him glitching in his own world affects no one. That said, I also doubt OP that you will get banned. Don't worry to much about single player games and glitching.

I was just referring to 'glitching' in general, you see it everywhere, Minecraft, Dead Island, Borderlands... I just don't get it. All I was trying to say was, I don't see why people feel the need to cheat. I like to play games properly, how they're supposed to be played. I'd like to look at my Minecraft structures and know that I spent the time to collect each and every item that I use.

Of course, I'll use 'Creative Mode' when it comes to make a small village or something in my new world... But, this isn't Creative Mode, so I wouldn't want to cheat myself. I don't know how to do the silly glitch and don't want to know. Same with any other games' glitches and bugs, have no interest in ruining my own experience... And I'm pretty sure that I've read on these very forums, that knowingly taking advantage of glitches, even in single player games, whether it be to help unlock achievements, or what not, can result in a ban. Whether that be for something as petty as Minecraft, I don't know, but if people do get banned for this, then I don't care. That's their own fault.
