Migrating region

Hi,

I wish migrating my Xbox Live region from France to Switzerland but I'm a bit lost and not sure which is my region right now… Is there a way to check my current region? Do I have to join support by phone? :-/

On account.microsoft.com I have 2 personal account: a FR (French) one and a CH (Swiss) one. I've deleted my FR credit card as I don't have one any more and I've added a CH credit card. That seems OK.

On xbox.com, my facturation information are corresponding to my CH data. That seems fine too.
But on my 360, my facturation information are my FR one.

So I have no idea which is the correct information.

If I try to change my region on xbox.com, I have an error message saying my region cannot be changed right now. So I'm tending to think my region has well been changed. But as there are still my FR information on my console, I don't know!

Please consult with an Official Xbox Support Billing Specialist by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and follow the steps WPAK stated.  They may need to get you in contact with Tier 3 Support. AKA: The men in black and white suits down the hall ;-)

Be sure to click the call support instead of chat.  All though most agents that do chat have done phone support, this is do to privacy reasons. :-)

The girl has answered to tell me "it should work"… (losing patience)

I've thought another thing. I've subscribed to Xbox Live Rewards program in France but it is not available in Switzrerland. Could it be the reason of my migration issue? (I've asked to her too, I wait for her anwer)

I've contacted Support by tchat, about almost 1 hour and a half… and I'm still stuck.

The girl I've talked to should investigate about my case and let me know when she has something new.

Hi there,

can you login at commerce.microsoft.com/.../PaymentInstrument you will most likely see a country selection option, this is probably caused by you having a FR account and have CH selection as region (and added a payment option) on the Xbox One console.

It may be best to contact Xbox Support regarding this issue, so they can take a more indepth look on what may be preventing the move (it could be the multiple regions)

To contact Xbox Support use: support.xbox.com/contact-us Be sure to change the Region located in the bottom left of the webpage to the correct region

Thanks for the link. Apparently my region is still France according to this page.

I'm not minor and haven't changed my region before.

I don't know what is Xbox 360 Entertainment For All contract. Is that specific to certain region?

I'm wondering about suspended account and expired credit card…

On account.microsoft.com, my FR personnal account has no credit card defined. On my console and on the WPAK link, I have the address linked to this (FR) account. So my account is considered as suspended?

The odd thing is that on my account on xbox.com, it's my CH account address which is displayed (and CH credit card too).

You won’t be able to change your region if any of the following conditions apply:

You changed regions within the last three months.

Your account is currently suspended (for example, if the credit card on one of your memberships has expired).

You have an Xbox 360 Entertainment For All contract.

You are a minor (as defined by applicable law) in your current region and will not be a minor in the region that you want to change to.

You are currently not a minor (as defined by applicable law) in your current region and will become a minor in the region that you want to change to.
