Migrating Account, are there ANY options from AU - CAN ?

Hey guys

So I moved from Australia to Canada and it all appears as though I cannot migrate my xbox live account and gamertag to CAN. 

What's odd is that I have used CAN issued xbox live codes and they work fine, but now I cannot use a CAN issued MS Points card code. Microsoft will also not let me add a Canadian credit card to my account, NOR can I pay with paypal for whatever reason..

Does anyone know what my options are other than create a whole new xbl account?? Which i really dont wanna have to do :(

Yeah have done, Spoke to two people who cant help but say they will get someone to call me back in like 5 days :( I fear the same answer from that person!

Nah, there's gotta be a way somehow. MS probably just has to look into it a little first to make sure everything is legit.

Hope so! Although even on billing.microsoft.com the option to change county is greyed out...

You can have a msp canadian acount meaning you make all your purchases on that acount but play on yours.

I'm almost certain that just like transfering your licenses from one Xbox over to another, that you're able to migrate your account from one Country to another just once per year. I mean, it makes sense but don't quote me on anything. I don't leave Canada much.

Xbix Skully, thanks as well, this sounds like a viable solution, but I was under the impression that game content purchases were linked to the gamertag?

All acounts on the xbox you dowload the content on gets to use that content.

Sweet. Thanks! And on that topic, if I buy a new xbox and do a HDD data transfer, all content should still be there and useable on my AU gamertag account?
