In terms of existing games, Spencer said of Quantum Break announcements, "Maybe VGX would be a good place for that." He's definitely hoping to share more on the Alan Wake team's new one in 2013, at any rate. "It may be before the end of the year when we talk more about what the story and the gameplay is [for Quantum Break].... We have a pretty good piece that I'm trying to coerce people into putting out before the end of the year ... showing the full Remedy vision, with Sam [Lake] giving a pretty good description of how the game works with some new gameplay footage."
Spencer quelled any excitement about any Black Tusk Studios announcements, however. "We really just wanted to announce [at E3] that the studio was up and running and they were doing something," he said. And while it may not be ready to show just yet, Insomniac Games' Sunset Overdrive "passed its vertical slice" -- meaning the studio's demo to Microsoft hit the publisher's expectations. Spencer said, "We're playing a full section of the game and feeling really good about the open world gameplay that they've put together."
Don't expect any Gears of War reveals, either, as Spencer previously told IGN that ball was in Epic Games' court -- and Gears isn't a priority at Epic.
