Microsoft cannot find my gamertag and i cannot sign in

So everythings been fine with my account today until i shut my xbox off then it asks me to login so i type my password in and it wont let me login, so i talked to an online rep and they cannot find my gamertag Arkathol they told me to change my name to it because its available, well i tried changing my name to it and the gamertag is unavailable, so clearly something is screwed up in your system, the email i had for that account when i sign into it it logs me into a WormiestEmu60 account whatever that is, and since you guys say my xbox live account cannot be found anywhere in your system, go on Ballistic Santa look at his friends list and there you will see my account Arkathol but anyways when you click on it or type that gamertag in it says a glitch has occured, and same with when i log into that wormiestemu60 account thats suppose to be Arkathol i try to click the forums and it says a glitch has occured, so i had to sign into a different account JUST to post on your forums as the xbox rep told me to do. the rep told me that they have never seen something like this, so basically i'll be paying for an xbox live account that doesnt exist in your system. so please fix this and get back to me.

Call back and have it escalated. The rep should of done that for you instead of referring you to the forums. It looks like your gamertag was disassociated from the account and it needs to go to a higher level than the rep at Microsoft.

 

EDIT: also, please remember, sometimes one agent will know something or how to do something another agent doesn't. They are all human after all, and there are literally thousands of issues and it is impossible to train someone of everything that can come up, and so most agents learn about some issues as they go along.

ill try it, ive talked to 3 diff ones and they tell me the same exact thing.its funny how they cannot find the gamertag anywhere in there system.

Ask so talk to a supervisor. Tell them you think it is disassociated. Also, have them look up the account by email. The agent should be offering to do it (even though it brings up the wrong gt)

Nope, nothing has been changed on the account since it has been made (4/20/2008)

Some help would be appreciated xbox. i talked to customer support and they told me i should get a email in a few days since my problem has been escalated to a tier 3 team i have got NOTHING its been a week, this is rediculous considering you claim my 5 almost 6 year old account doesnt exist.

I'm really sorry to hear you've been having issues with your main account.

I do see that this has been passed up to an Advocacy Team to investigate. I'm not sure on the timetable of a resolution for this though.
