The message limit for xbox consoles was a mistake to begin with. The limit was designed to reduce spam, that's ok but spam was never a big issue, its just a microscopic annoyance at most.
By creating a message limit it has resulted in a limit in how paying customers are able to play games and enjoy their xbox console. There is a vast number of reasons why a message limit is bad for gamer's trying to play. Lets say a player is trying to find players for a team, they send out a lot of messages. Lets say players want to ask all their friends questions for a activity or inform them of something or get their input. Players who don't have a mic or their mic broke can find them self with no form of communication over xbox with a message limit, that sucks. What if you were mute, you would not be able to communicate on xbox.
A message limit is also pointless to stop spam when players have the ability to block communications. The only thing a message limit does is cause more hardships for xbox live members. The limit needs to go.
