Managing your Billing Account

Hello to the xbox LIVE community!


Have you...


  • Ever wanted to check the exact date of when your xbox LIVE membership started and ended?
  • Ever wanted to check when you bought Microsoft Points? Or received them through a promotion?
  • Ever wanted to check how many Microsoft points you have spent per month? Year? And/Or what date you spent them on? As well as what content you purchased?


Well you can do all that and more by visiting!


In order to view your accounts billing and purchase history information you will need to sign in, simply enter the Windows Live ID (email) and password which are associated to your xbox LIVE account.


When you first log into the website you will be shown your "Billing and Account Management" overview. On this page you will see two main boxes of information relating to your account:


In the first box:

  • Your payment methods / Payment types
  • Your points and credit / Microsoft Points.


In the second box:

  • Your services / Service name


Ok, lets get started on the first box you can see!


Under "Payment Types" (depending on wether or not you have a credit/debit card associated to your account) you will see either a credit/debit card number and/or "Pre-paid codes payment method". Clicking on either will load a new page to show the current activity on your account regarding the account membership. You have an available option to select what month you wish to review, regarding purchases from when you first signed up for xbox LIVE Gold.


So for example, when I click on "Xbox LIVE (Visa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)" being the card I have associated to my account the next page I see is this:  Picture Reference. If you click on the down arrow in the "Statement period" box you can choose which month to review.


Moving onto the second area in the first box, being: "Points and Credits". Again this page works much like the first, simply click on "Microsoft points" and you will be shown a table with your recent activity for the current month. If you wish to review a different month simply click on the down arrow and select another month from the "Statement period" box.


Right! The secon box on the home page, being "Your services / Service names" is there to show you when you have activated a subscription on your account, it also gives the end date to a "said" subscription and how the subscription was purchased (either with a pre-paid card or debit/credit card).


Furthermore, if you have any issues relating to payment methods or have recently been suspended due to a payment issue, you can use to resolve those problems.
