Long Story Short

My gamertag's info was swapped over XBox.com (pass, email, everything) around a year ago. The account was never recovered, but I couldn't do anything because XBox "Needs more info", which I can't provide them with because it's not my email. I can't add live, points, buy anything, so the account was pointless. I didn't really care for the account, but the gamertag I want back because it's been an alias of mine for awhile now, I found out I can add 160 and under MSP Codes, no info required, so did that After having the account sit on my XBox for a year, I thought I would finally have my Gamertag back, but as soon as I hit change gamertag, I get "Need more info" screen again. XBox won't help me because I can't provide them with the necessary information to the account, since it isn't my email. I've tried to explain the situation, and they said they'd handle it, but I once had them not call for 6 months. I called back, and they said they had insufficient info -_- Any help here?

im not really sure what this problem is can you carifly your account was compramised ? is this is the case you must open a account compramisation case ring phone support and tell them if this is not the case please explain more clearly as i cant understand the situation

My account was compromised. Someone changed the inf through XBox.com about a year ago without my consent. The account is still on my XBox, they never recovered it. Also, I rang up XBox 4 times over a year, they refuse to help, since I can't provide the info for the guy's email.

well if its compramised ring up and say its been hacked(i know its a lazy and untrue word)but they take that serously for some reason ask what you can do then go from there

They keep asking me to prove the account with the email info, but I can't provide it since it isn't my account. I can only provide an email since I know it.

I'm sorry you are having this issue, but what phone support said is the answer you're going to get here. If that GT is taken by someone else (which it sounds like is technically the case here, ie. attached to a different WLID) then it can't be forcibly changed.
