[LOCKED] Password Changing for Dummies & Updating the Email Associated With Your Account

So recently we've seen Sony, Codemasters, Sega and BETHESDA - Yes, even the Skyrim guys, have been hacked.

Can anyone post a simpleton's guide to updating your password and changing the email associated with your gamertag?

Cheers

To change your password, logon to hotmail.co.uk and click on profile and change it there.

To change your email adress associated with your gamertag, go on to your Xbox, and go to "My Xbox", go right once and select your profile, and then go right to "Account Management" and then select "Manage Account". Then go right twice and select "Windows Live ID".  You can also change your password there.

If you can't work it out there you don't deserve the internet.

Most people dont deserve access to the internet

I tend to use LastPass to suggest random passwords. 20 characters a-z, A-Z and 0-9.

I suppose it's funny if you're not that worried about your LIVE account.

Your real fright would be to lose your Forum Account and with it your rage outlet against anyone enjoying their games.

Sega and Bethesda were a wake up call for me as I'd been on those things since way before anyone really worried about using one password for a couple of different places.

Great advice in this thread for anyone who wants or needs to change any of their details.

For those who came to help, thanks a lot.

For those who came to troll, enjoy my sig!
