Locked: compensation

I know you do not talk about console bans, but I was recently the victim of a wrongful ban and my console got unbanned this weekend. Issue I am coming accrossed is that after two weeks I finally broke down and bought a new console, to my surprise I found out that my old console got unbanned and was able to connect back on live. Question is will microsoft compensate me for going out and buying a brand new console? Also I heard that I would be receiving 3 months xbox live service and also 1600 microsoft points for my inconvience. Is this true? My gamertag is swyzz.

You would need to ask MS about that really.

As far as the 1600msp & LIVE membership they are added to the primary account which was/is used on the affected console.
Let me get you a link & I will post back.

Microsoft is compensating everyone who was affected by the console ban that did not deserve it by giving them a 3 month Gold subscription and 1600 ms points. As for the console you went out and bought, of your own accord, you should see if it is still within the stores return warranty. If it is then take it back and get a refund.
