LOCKED - cant upgrade

i have been tryin to upgrade from silver to gold membership for a week now and i keep getting the error message :

Can't retrieve information from Xbox LIVE.

Please try again later.

Status code:80190864

When i try to upgrade via this site i get a message:

Oops it appears you have found a glitch

Can anyone tell me whats going on please,would be much appreciated.

Hi there.

 

Have you tried clearing the update cache on your xbox 360 system? If not this could help with the problem. Follow the next set of steps if you require help in doing so:

 

  1. Navigate to the "My xbox" slide on the dashboard.
  2. Scroll right, to the last page which is "System Settings".
  3. Select "Memory" from the list of options.
  4. Highlight the hard drive and hit Y on your controller.
  5. Select the option to clear the update cache and perform maintenance on the memory unit.
  6. Sign out and back into xbox LIVE, then attempt to purchase/redeem the suscbription again.

 

If that does not help, recover your gamertag and try again.

 

Be sure that if you're using a credit/debit card that it is valid for online subscription payments, you can clarify this by calling your bank.

that status code means there is a billing violation on your account. You need to call support for your region to clear it up.
