Locked account? Help!

I bought a 12month gold membership token from the local game store the other day. I entered all the info, and it turns out ive been locked? ive tried everything to get hold of customer support but nothing will work? i need help!

Only the billing department over the phone will be able to unlock your account. The number that Powderboy has given you is for US/Canada. If you are in a different country then let us know what it is and we can grab you the correct number to call.

What exactly do you mean "I've tried everything." If Mitch97Kay is your gamertag it looks like you can sign into the Microsoft Account. When you sign in does it ask for anything specific, or does it say specifically "there's a problem with your Microsoft Account, call support?" It's not just like asking you to update your security proofs is it? If you have a past due balance for an older subscription (like a month or two ago) and you never turned off auto-renew that would not enable you to redeem that code either. Etiher way you need to call support.

I AM NOT A MICROSOFT EMPLOYEE NOR FORUM MODERATOR. However I do know a lot about acct recovery.

account locks can only be removed by billing phone support. or you may have a billing suspension which would require you to contac support to take care of any decline balances on your account. if any agent could get into your account they should be able to see if there is a lock on your account and what is is.
