Hey there Jim! Does this disconnect only happen when playing a certain game, or does this happen regularly with all games and apps? Do you find you get disconnected from LIVE if you simply wait on the Dashboard for a while?

Also, I see you are using a wired connecting through a router. Just for testing purposes, can you try directly connecting to the modem and see if that improves things? You may also want to reset your modem, just for good measure. Let us know how that goes, thanks!

Thanks for the clarification, JimW83. While you are still connected directly to the modem can I have you run another connection test and post the X Y Z codes you receive while wired? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for following up, Jim. Can you try resetting your networking equipment to factory default settings and let me know if you notice any changes? I'd be interested to know if that helps resolve the issue. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes. Standing by.

Sorry for the delay, JimW83. Can you also try resetting your network settings on your console to factory defaults? Here's how to do this:

System Settings > Network Settings > Select your Network > Configure Network > Additional Settings > Restore to Factory Defaults

You may also want to redownload your profile by following these steps: support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete and also clear your console's cache: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache.

Give these steps a shot and let me know if you notice a difference. Thanks in advance. Standing by.

I'll give it a go and get back to you. I was also wondering if the hard drive can cause problems with the live connection.

Thanks again
