Live chat stopped working on Xbox360 BT Home Hub 5

Live chat stopped working on my sons Xbox360 when we upgraded our broadband with BT and connected the supplied BT Home Hub 5. Everything else works fine, its just the in game chat that doesn't work, either incoming or outgoing voice.

Try switching off Smart Wireless. It doesn't actually do anything, and can interfere with other devices and connections.

I see you posted this on the BT forums, but got no help. Which doesn't surprise me, they're not that helpful on there. Well, only when they want to be.
