We're excited to announce that we've fully migrated the Xbox Forums to their new home, here on the Microsoft Community forums!
As of today, going to forums.xbox.com will redirect you here to the Xbox area of the Community forums. We've moved all of your existing threads over so you can continue and start conversations with the new forums experience.

I am married and my wife and I love playing Xbox online. But I want to buy some games that we both love to play and I want them accessible to both of our accounts. Is there any help that Xbox or the Xbox Community can provide??
Do you guys have two different consoles or just one?
If you guys share a console then nearly all games can be used by any account on the console the game was purchased on. This is the way the licenses work. You get two licenses when you pruchase a game, one for the console(so any profile on that console can
play it) and one for the account that purchased it(so the account can play the game on any console, once its connected to Xbox Live).
This is all explained in the "useage rights" section when you are purchasing the game.
Hope this info helps, post back if you need help with anything else!
