We're excited to announce that we've fully migrated the Xbox Forums to their new home, here on the Microsoft Community forums!
As of today, going to forums.xbox.com will redirect you here to the Xbox area of the Community forums. We've moved all of your existing threads over so you can continue and start conversations with the new forums experience.
We sincerely appreciate the feedback you have provided over this transition and can't wait for you to check out the new Xbox Forums!
There's a number of things you can try to resolve this issue.
1. Unplug your flash drive and plug it back in again. This should enable the Xbox to see it correctly.
2. Try your flash drive in another USB port on your console. Sometimes the USB ports can stop working properly for any number of reasons.
3. Try another flash drive or other USB accessory (such as a wired controller or a play and charge cable) on the same USB port. Flash drives are prone to failing for a number of reasons. This test can help determine if the flash drive is faulty.
4. Try your flash drive in another device (PC, PS3, etc) to see if it's recognised by those systems.
Let us know how you go with that and we can work from there.
