Lag Issues

So I have all the ports forwarded and my NATs open (yes I know they don't really connect to be the same issue, just putting that info in). I went to speedtest.net and it says I have Ping - 72ms Download Speed - 4.73mbps Upload Speed - .95mbps. I haven't been on xbox in a few days because the lag I've been having is frustrating. Anybody know of a way to fix it?

Not bad speeds, but a little on the slow side.

Have you tried clearing your xbox system cache and powercycling your network?

If you have a cable modem with a *** in coxial cable, you could try unscrewing that and using a soft cloth to discharge the static. Only unscrew the end from the modem - the wall end is the grounded side.

Ping of 72 is not great!

If you go to speedtest.net and pick the location nearest to you, or pick the location which is the same as your provider, your ping should never be above 20ms.

Also try pingtest.net

If the problem persists, try connecting your computer directly to the modem (no router) are the tests still bad?

Try connecting your xbox directly to the modem, same problems?

If the answer is yes, you'll need to contact your ISP to fix your line issues.

How do I exactly powercycle my network? (Did speed test again and now it's 45 Ping, but still same amount of lag.)
