Router brand & model number: NetGear, VMDG480?

Network Connection Type: Wireless/Wired - Wireless for xbox, and wired for my PC

If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using? uh?

Things you have tried: I've moved my xbox away from my router, and then I moved my router towards my xbox

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown - Unknown

Is NAT Type Open? Yes

Any Error Codes you encounter:  Nope.

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? Cable, I believe.

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Virgin Media

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? Says they're all connected, but whenever I join a game of Modern Warfare 2. I always disconnect, or I lag extremely bad.. This never happened like 2 weeks ago, it just started happening.

Next time you're disconnected due to a connection failure, please run a connection speed test on your PC, and then post the results here, in this thread.

I think the problem is that you have insufficient internet speeds to play the games, either because you're joining a Host who is in North America, or you just have very slow internet. Call up Xbox support and see what they can do. Usually thy can use an emulator to check your modem. So if it's a connection problem they will fix it, if not... Then you might have to upgrade your internet to DSL/Fyber optik

You can go to http://speedtest.net, take the test, and then post the result image here on the forums. Please do this test from a computer on the same network as your Xbox users.
