kinect connects to a older xbox 360

im happy with my xbox 360. its the black console before entrie the kinect sysstem. one question this old console i hve connect any kinnect systems or buying a new console with kinnect. please thanks to answer my question

to further the info  The kinect power adapter is included with the kinect when purchased. Just follow the directions in the box to hook it up and ur ready to go

CB Rebel's post is correct. You do NOT need to buy the power adaptor that Vibroplex posted above.

The retail Kinect that you buy separately, has ALL accessories neccessary to connect it to any Xbox 360 console (be it new or old).

Only if you bought the Kinect together with a console in a bundle, the Kinect will be missing the power adaptor.

So for people that bought a second console with the Kinect bundle in addition to their existing older console, and want to use Kinect alternating on both consoles, they can buy the power adaptor that Vibroplex posted.

But if you buy the "normal" Kinect retail box, everything is already included.
