Just bought 1 month of Gold online, Still isn't showing up?

I purchased 1 month of Xbox Live Gold for my account, and everything seems all fine and well except that on my account(on my xbox) it shows up as Silver and won't let me play online. I assume there's a delay, but for how long? It's been around an hour.

Hello Rigaderchi, I'm sure you are able to get on by now, but for future references, if your account on your console is not reflecting the correct subscription status, you should be able to update it immediately by running the Xbox LIVE Connection test or by recovering your Gamertag. :)

It can take longer than an hour at times.  But, it looks like you are showing up as a Gold Member now.  If you're still experiencing an issue with not being able to play online, I would contact Xbox support directly.
