issue with sound setting

I used hdmi for both of my video and sound setting.

Under the sound setting, only surround sound uncompressed seems to the working correctly.

When under 5.1 uncompressed, I can only hear sound effect, but not dialogue.

If I am to switch to DTS, it will be no sound at all.

The way I set it up, x1 -> via hdmi -> tv -> digital output to the speaker set I have.

I had same setup for xbox 360, and it had been working fine.

Has anyone experience the same problem?

No optical out on any tv made will send surround, only stereo. Send the optical signal from the xbox but you still may not have dialog. I lost mine just now.

my TV does allow passing raw/pcm thru digital cable, and I have checked to make sure it's passing raw data.

With Dolby Digital enabled on 360, I was able to simply pass the raw data over my TV digital output and let my receiver perform the decoding.

So I kinda assumed it would work the same way with One.

My receiver is not performing any decoding, however, when I have the same setting hook up with the One.

But ya, there is no other option with optical out either, so guess I will wait and see.
