I currently have Xbox Live Free and received an email tonight (03-16) advising of a special offer for two months of Gold for $2. I clicked on the offer in the email and it said that this offer was not currently available for me.
A quick read of the fine print in the email said that this offer was good for current Xbox Live Free customers.
I then tried to log into My Account here on the website and noticed something strange. The details of my account that appear in the top right corner still have me listed as a Gold Member even though you can clearly see that the system shows that I am currently an Xbox Live Free account.
Who do I talk to? I tried to go through the Support options here but it keeps trying to direct me to internal articles that don't have any helpful information. Also, the other options for contacting Xbox are inactive links.
