Intermittent connection issues after installing new gateway

Hey gang, after installing a new Motorola gateway, about every 3rd time I turn on my Xbox 360, it doesn't connect. Running network diagnostics always fixes it, but that's getting really annoying. It almost seems as if the Ethernet card on the gateway isn't waking up properly when the Xbox turns on. It's a wired connection, and the gateway is solid in every other respect.

Note that I'm using Opendns below, but the issue happens whether or not I use it.
