i was hacked

i tried signing into my account tonight after i had been told by my friends that i wasnt on their friends list anymore and i was confused by this and when i went to sign on xbox live my password wasnt working and i went through a decent ammount to recover my account and then when i signed on i saw that i had no friends and all of my account things had been blocked. now i signed onto my email to find out that someone had bought 16,000 microsoft points on one of the cards on my account im highly angered by this and dont know what to do.... please help

I found out tonight that happened to me too, took me over an hour to recover my account, changing password and stuff but someone has bought 10,000 microsoft points costing me £85, they all ready spent all the microsoft points on a game I dont have or will ever play,  looks like I will have to contact xbox support tomorrow and try to get my money back (fat chance)

All you have to do is contact Xbox Support and open an Unauthorized Access Investigation which will freeze your account and it usually takes u[ to 25 days for a complete investigation.  You will be refunded for any purchase not made by you.

I was hacked today as well.  the person spent 1200 points out of my account. But thankfully didn't charge any more points to my card.

They did migrate my account to Russia though! So my account page and some text on my console is in Russian!

I called tech support and they've locked the account ( though I can still log in here and get into my hotmail).  They said it would be up to 25 business days for them to investigate the issue and return the account to me.  Ridiculous that it could take that long.  They should just be able to change the password and restore the account to use while doing the investigation.  I don't mind waiting to get my points back, but it's absurd to not be able to use the gold account I paid for in the meantime.

You get a month's gold gratis I believe, I also ask again whether people would prefer a half assed job be done or a through one.

Seems like all that's needed is confirming the owners I'd and then restore the account with a new password.

Like I said, I'm fine not getting the points back while they're investigating.

Shouldn't take 25 days to confirm I'm the owner and give me the account back with a new password.  I mean with credit card fraud you dispute the charges and get a new card in less than a week in my experience.
