I simply want my account back.

I filed an unauthorized access claim on August the 4th and my account was officially put on lock down August 6th. 

Today is the 21st business day since then and I was told I would get my account back on this day by over 20 Xbox Live customer support agents in the last month.

So, naturally I called in a few minutes ago to ask why I have not received my email for recovery yet and they tell me that I may have to wait another week for any contact.

I am not happy. Dead Island released today and I want to play on MY ACCOUNT with it, not some crappy secondary account I have to make.

The thing that bothers me most is that there is no way to get in touch with the investigations team to resolves this matter.

I had the agents leave notes saying that if the case could not be solved by today to give me my account back and I would suffer the MS point loss that occurred.  

My 3,000+ MS points were spent on some random Fifa 2011 DLC and nothing else happened so why this is taking so long is beyond me.

I even provided them with the gamertag of a random person that was found on my friend list after the intrusion occurred.

I simply want my account back now, today. It's been over 30 days, 21 of which were the business days that I agreed on when I filed the claim. 

Is there ANYTHING I can do besides sit here and wait? I am beyond frustrated right now and no one seems to be able to assist me.

(And please, don't jump in here and tell me they take between 30-45 days to complete now because that was not what I was told by over 20 agents.)

Oh and let me add that I am still able to use my account offline. My Xbox Live access is what is on lockdown, not my ability to sign in with my profile.

I feel your pain. all anyone is going to tell you in the forums is to "call xbox customer support". there seems to be a widespread amount of hackings. a big company like microsoft will do whatever they can to avoid blame.

it says I played fifa 11 and madden 12. I dont own either of those! I just want my account and $$ back.

I understand. I really just wanted to vent and warn anyone that has a unauthorized access on their account to consider the downtime versus the loss of MS points.

At this point my $35 dollars worth of points that were spent isn't worth the hassle this whole ordeal has been. Xbox is VERY unprofessional when it comes to cases like these. I say this mainly due to the fact that NO ONE can help in these situations. I would be willing to bet I could contact the freaking owner of Walmart if I had to but here at Xbox you can't get a straight and HONEST answer about anything.

First it's 21 business days, now it's 22. I bet when I call tomorrow it'll be 30 and when I call then it'll be 45, ect....

I don't own Fifa 11 either and never have played it but someone bought a bunch of jumbo gold pack crap with my points and then deleted the game off my history. I've been a member for a long time and have spent a LOT of money on Xbox games, points,ect... to be treated this way is really crappy. If I was told by 20 agents that on the 21st business day that I would get an email to recover my account and get my live access back then I expect that to be the case.

I don't even care about the point loss at this point. I just want to play Dead Island TODAY with my friends on MY ACCOUNT. It's really that simple.

I have been a loyal customer since 2005.

someone bought 17 gold jumbo crap. and 11 Halo 3 Legendary Packs! I didn't even know you could buy multiple map packs of the same one if you already owned it! now I have to wait over a month for it to be resolved.

xbox may have the fastest responding customer service on twitter, but it is just a facade.

Don't believe the hype. They told me 21 business days, which is technically 30+ days considering weekends and holidays like Labor Day this past Monday. No they are saying 22 business days and to call back tomorrow. I am afraid that when I call in tomorrow they are going to say 23 and keep giving me the run around.

well good luck, it seems you are on the tail end of it at least. I just filed the claim this weekend.. had to transfer from my savings just to keep my account from over drafting thanks to this hacker.

I really hate to hear that. I hope you have an easier time than I have so far. While I might be on the tail end I also don't appreciate the way they are bullcrapping me with the time frames.
