I filed an unauthorized access claim on August the 4th and my account was officially put on lock down August 6th.
Today is the 21st business day since then and I was told I would get my account back on this day by over 20 Xbox Live customer support agents in the last month.
So, naturally I called in a few minutes ago to ask why I have not received my email for recovery yet and they tell me that I may have to wait another week for any contact.
I am not happy. Dead Island released today and I want to play on MY ACCOUNT with it, not some crappy secondary account I have to make.
The thing that bothers me most is that there is no way to get in touch with the investigations team to resolves this matter.
I had the agents leave notes saying that if the case could not be solved by today to give me my account back and I would suffer the MS point loss that occurred.
My 3,000+ MS points were spent on some random Fifa 2011 DLC and nothing else happened so why this is taking so long is beyond me.
I even provided them with the gamertag of a random person that was found on my friend list after the intrusion occurred.
I simply want my account back now, today. It's been over 30 days, 21 of which were the business days that I agreed on when I filed the claim.
Is there ANYTHING I can do besides sit here and wait? I am beyond frustrated right now and no one seems to be able to assist me.
(And please, don't jump in here and tell me they take between 30-45 days to complete now because that was not what I was told by over 20 agents.)
