I need to change my XBL account e-mail address!

When I made the account, I spelled the e-mail address wrong and now I can't receive my activation code for Call of Duty: Elite. When I try to change the e-mail it's saying it can't be changed before 30 days... Is there anything I, or someone else can do to fix this problem? I've already redeemed the membership code for this account, so I can't just make a new one and I don't want to have to wait 30 days...

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

You can try phoning support for your region to see if they can help you change the email address early but I'm afraid that if they can't it will have to be a wait of 30 days.

Yes you have to run to gamestop and ask them for an email address to put your code on. Cheers!

you can MORPH the email into a different one - doesn't seem to have issues with the 30 day limit - at account.live.com

It'll let you change the registered email into another email, allowing you to correct the typo.
