I need help with my Xbox 360 slim (kinect) moving to a different country..

Hi and merry christmas everyone. Here's my story, I got an xbox 360 as a present for christmas here in USA, now I will be moving to Philippines which have a 220v/60hz (A/B/C outlet type).I know that the 360 I bought have a power supply  of 100 - 140v(Correct me if im wrong) so my question is if this ac adapter is good to be use at my country http://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Xbox-360-Slim-AC-Adapter/dp/B004HX5OFW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1324872254&sr=8-5. I can also buy a converter  http://www.amazon.com/Goldsource%C2%AE-Voltage-Converter-Transformer-ST500/dp/B0022QOSDK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1324873349&sr=8-8. Pls help me since I do not want to do anything wrong with my 360 and blow it up. Thanks for your time and sorry if I posted it in the wrong section.

I don't believe any third party power supplies are authorized/approved by Microsoft.

 

You could try contacting support, see if they can provide you a 220v, 60hz compatible power brick.

Also been trying to contact support but everytime I get a call back from a machine, it hangs up on me about 2 times now

Hey there! We don't support third-party power adapters. Your best bet would be to buy a "replacement" power supply from Microsoft in the country that you are moving to. This will ensure that you have the proper connection. Hope this helps, thanks!
