I keep disconnecting whenever I start a game up

Today I tried to play Halo Reach only to find whenever I started up the game, it said I wasn't connected to Xbox Live. I tested the connection and everything was good, and my profile signed into XBL. I tried again and got the same issue. I then went on a different profile and I connected and was able to play online. 

I got this issue again and again whenever trying to play just on this account. it's really frustrating. Help?!?!

I had the same issue.  Wiping my system cache did nothing, but re-downloading my profile worked and I can play online again.

Hey there Indi, have you tried to Clear your System Cache?  If you don't know how to clear your system cache, then please click here  

If that resolution does not succeed then please try to re-download your profile.  To do this, follow the steps below.

  • Pull up the Xbox Guide (big X on your controller)
  • Select Download Profile (Not seeing Download Profile?  Press X to sign out of your account first) 
  • Follow the prompts.

 NOTE:  You will need to enter your WLID and password to re-download your profile.
