I hope this is the right place to post this.

For purposes of this encounter, we will assume my xbox name is the same as my account name.

I had an account with a friend of mine who set me up with xbox live. I transfer the account to a new xbox when I get one of my own, All is awesome and cool.

Bad incident where the xbox I was using got damaged, including the wireless system you plug in the back.

I got a 'new' xbox from a gamer store for 100 but they didnt have the wireless in the back so I spent 3 months playing xbox 'cold' if you will.

Got a wireless for the back finally and loded up my gamerfile, awesome and cool, no problem.

How do I transfer my saved files from the 'cold' account to my xbox live account?

Things like mass effect 1&2 and the like wont copy or move since it is all in the same hard drive.

Hey LonelyMango3! If any or some of the saved games were offline (not connected to the internet), the only suggestion would be to copy profile along with the saved games to an USB or Memory Unit, since the saved games are offline and already on the hard drive to play it on the Xbox.

Can I use any USB drive like the one from my college work  or do I need a specific device to transfer the data?
