I have to test every time?

I'm having a strange issue. Every time I turn on my Xbox 360 S, I have to test my connection if I want to connect to Xbox LIVE. I only need to test once, then it works until the next time I turn it on. When I select my profile, I get this error message: "Can't connect to Xbox LIVE. Select Test Connection to troubleshoot, or try downloading your profile again." Then, I test the connection. It says everything is connected. I try logging in again, and it works. If I don't test it, it doesn't work until I do. It didn't do this when I first got it, and I know it started at least a few days ago. What's causing this and how can it be fixed?

Like when you switch your modem on, wait a bit(around a minute) then continue. Also, do other people use the same router as a LAN?

also is you network wierles or not?

and is the xbox on wifi, if so is the network secured?

the only time ive seen this pop up is in places on a very larg network whith a lot of consoles and PC's,

but if your network is unsecured that might be whats going on... you might have a piggy backer or two.

My internet connection is fully on every time, my network is wireless and it's secured, and I only have 2 things on it: my laptop and the Xbox. I just tried it without my laptop on and I still had the problem.

My issue has been resolved! My internet stopped working earlier, so I restarted my modem to get it working again. Then, I turned on my Xbox. I was able to connect to Xbox LIVE without testing. Thanks a lot for trying to help.
