I get disconnected from XBL after a while

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" and click on "More info", what is the exact message shown on screen? There is no "More info" button.

I keep getting kicked off xbox live every 10-45 minutes. I could be in a multiplayer match, playing single player, or sitting at the dashboard doing nothing. I have no "strict connection" messages, and my PS3 and WII work perfectly with no problem (sitting in the same spot, on the same connection). I was told by an xbox agent that it was my wireless card in the xbox and he recommended I return it to the store and get a new one (the xbox was 2 weeks old). I just got back from the store with the new one, plugged it in, set it up, and it has the same problem.

Is it possible to try a wired connected, so that we can narrow down whether it's a wireless issue or a network issue?
