I do believe I found a bug in the profile editing area on Xbox.com

So, basicaly I found (I only tested the first line of input) that at least in the Bio section (I only tested this part) of the online profile editing area, there is one specific way to crash the processing code on a very consistent basis. I thought I would detail it here, in hopes that the Xbox team would be able to see and fix this. Here's the steps I took to replicate this:

  1. Enter a line that ends with "<anything>;" where anything you want is between the angle brackets.
  2. Attempt to save your changes.
  3. See the error code (I tested this on my 360, and didn't write down any error codes, not initially seeing the necesity of them. I apologize.

I will follow this up with the error codes I encounter (I will use just that string in my update and post those codes here).

Hey there Herd Ninja,

Thanks for the heads up. Some characters may show up on your console but not on xbox.com. If you have those angle brackets in your profile they will definitely show on your bio when viewed on the console.
