I cannot connect to xbox live

I have connected to xbox live before. I have a current valid xbox live subscription.

And I now achieved a dedicated tile that sits there telling me “get help connecting to xbox live” on my xbox one; So I click it to test the connection, it tells me “everything is good” and still won’t log me into xbox live. Round and around I go. You’re not logged into xbox live, test your connection, everything is good, you are not logged into xbox live. Click here to get on to xbox live, testing your connection, everything is good…

I can access the internet, but not anything on xbox live. Please tell me what am I missing?

I just chatted with support.  I had the same problem and they told me to:

"Please turn off the console and unplug the power supply from the wall outlet and once the console is off disconnect the power cord from your power brick and console for 1 minute. Afterwards you may put everything back in and turn on the console."

It worked.   Good luck
