I can't connect to my wireless internet connection.

I just went through the entire support step-by-step, NO LUCK.

My brother tampered with the internet a few weeks back, and now I decided to get xbl back. So I did, using my brothers xbox and got my gold back. His xbox is WIRED to the internet. So I take my xbox and set it up downstairs with my wirless connector. I have done this before from like 2009-late 2010 before I stop playing xbl. I put in my WEP key ( know it 100% ) But it won't connect. I do the SAME THING with my Ipod AND my sisters phone can't connect either.. Is there an option I need to turn on my router..?

Oh I also have Bell Canada internet

Encryption would be the security type that your wireless is running under i.e. WEP, WPA, WPA2-Enterprise, WPA2-TKIP as examples. Sometimes devices are only supported up to a certain encryption type, meaning the difference between wifi-G and wifi-N devices to work on a network.

Phones usually just use WEP as far as i know, as a simple password is usually required to access someone else's home network. Consoles on the other hand are more sophisticated and can up to the WPA standards depending on the the Xbox 360 Slim (which is Wifi-N capable) and the access point your connecting to. Both of these must use the same standard, if not, one of them must be configured so that both are running together.
