Mister Ohnaka, I have tried it on both. On the console it says that I need parental email password but I deleted the parental control of my xbox years ago, and on xbox.com it signs me out when I click accept. I am clearly not the only one with this problem so please fix it as soon as possible. This is getting very frustrating.

Also having this issue.. Put in the password to my parents account when I try on my console (already updated my account to adult status) and it tells me the password is incorrect. Asked my mother to go to hotmail and recover her account and it says someone else has been using it and won't even send a recovery email to her secondary account. When I try to accept it on xbox.com, I hit accept and it takes me straight back to the log in screen.

Not happy, put a lot of time and a lot of money in to this account.

I'm having the same troubles too. It's pretty frustrating, considering i've been an adult for a number of years now, yet it is still asking me for my parent account, one which i cannot access and i can't currently contact the person who controls that account. Im not even sure it's still active...

Its a bunch of crap i almost thought about getting the xbox one but no way in hell now. I have never had so much bs happen i buy a year pass and get it put to 3 months then i have to deal with this too? I'm done once my time ends i will get a ps4.
