i bought xbox live of here and it wont go on my xbox

i reset and sign out and in but its not coming up my mate said it says i have gold but it dont say that for me??

The switch from silver to gold doesn't happen right away. Give it a litte time.

I would try recovering your gamertag again, sometimes this resolves this issue.

Thank you for your reply's.... But when i sign in it says my account has been suspended due to a problem with your payment option.. I update profile and add the new card and it say's i am logged into xbox live Gold.. But none of my friends come up on my friends list and as soon as i load up a game it disconnects me.. same will happen agen n agen.. It didnt downgrade to a silver it jus says Disconnected..

Log into your account at http://billing.microsoft.com to transfer your services to the new card. I'm asuming that you have added the card to the account, it just hasn't been added to the subscription

To make sure there is no problem go on xbox.com and look in the top right it will tell you if you are a Gold member.
