I am not getting these codes in my email inbox

I used my dad's computer to login to my xboxlive account because my computer isn't working. However, when I try to manage my account, it prompts me to enter a code that was sent to my registered email address. I clicked on "send a new code" several times and checked my inbox and junk/spam folder and I don't see anything. I even changed my email address to a different one, confirmed it, and "sent a new code" but I still don't get anything in my inbox!!!

This is really frustrating. Anybody know what I can do to fix this problem?

Generally when you change the email the code is sent to, it can take times for that change to take effect. I have heard of people having to wait 2-4 weeks. But you do have some other options. You can make your computer "trusted" or manage your security proofs.

I would like to bring your attention to this thread: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/f/12/p/291276/1522320.aspx#1522320 and draw your attention to the "How to add a Trusted PC" section.

Hope this helps!

OK, I've finally got the codes, but they don't work... When I entered in the code I got from my email inbox it says: "The wrong code was entered. Send a new code to your email and try again."

Then when I click on "Send me another code." it says "We couldn't send the code. Please try again."

ARGHHH!

having a kind of similar issue, I am wanting to cancel the auto renew on my account, without having to call MS, but it wants me to put in a code to access my settings. Thing is, the code is being sent to a cell phone I haven't had for multiple years, in fact, the 3 numbers they have for me on here are numbers I no longer have. FML.

I think I'll might just call Microsoft. Nothing seems to be working for me. I get spammed with a hundred codes and confirmations but none of them work. And I didn't even know I could get this mail considering the fact that it keeps telling me that the codes can't be sent...

I think you have to confirm/verify my email address first, but it won't let me do that either. It just says: "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, please try again later."

I think you have to verify the email address first, then request a code?

Have you tried what I suggested or the thread that I posted suggests? Making your pc "trusted"? Or changing or deleting your proofs?
