How's LA Noire going for people?

If you have LA Noire, are you enjoying it at the moment? State your pros and cons here about the game. I haven't got the game yet but I'm highly thinking to.

Loving it.

The occasional texture pop in on walls or white joining lines on buildings is the only negative I've spotted and it's not enough to ruin the game.

It's awesome!! It starts off a bit slow but when you hit detective things really kick off. I've got 1 homicide case to go then I'll be moving onto the next desk.

I'd hope not.  Those things are in all sandbox games.  People should have got used to them by now.

Had a quick looksee before, played ok. Seem to be watching more cutscenes than playtime though. I can see me getting into it, like these detective sorta games

I'm enjoying it. From a technical standpoint the only issue I've had is a slight FPS drop at the beginning of some gunfights. Story wise I'm its fun, although at the moment more like watching a tv show than playing a game; which I understand at some extent is meant to be the point.

But I can't help but feel I'm being led, like I'm not actually having any real significance In the outcome of the cases. I know most games are linear and so this shouldn't really be a problem, but It is because the game seems to be trying to convince me that I am making a difference, In the end i'll always get the suspect though. I'm only 6 cases in but every case has been pretty obvious so far, hoping they get a bit harder to read.

Minor issues for me, nothing game breaking and still very much enjoying the game after my first 3 or so hrs.

Simply one of the finest things to happen to gaming in years.

Anyone who disagrees is a nailed-on wrong 'un.

Off topic: Why doesn't firefox post in paragraphs now? What's the command to stop it from being a block of text (or just a way to fix it). Even better, can anyone name a browser that doesn't have this problem?

Awful. I put it in my console. Open tray. Close tray. Play Game. Crash.

But I do have one of the crapped xboxes ;L

Anyone playing this in black and white? Quite tempted to, although shame it doesn't have any subtle colour emphasis on certain elements.

Simple answer; Because these forums suck the nuts (and are still being fiddled with).

Easy workaround for now; Press the return key twice whenever you want a new paragraph, seems to sort the coding out in a roundabout way
