How to tell if...

I am going to be banned from live?

i bought a second hand console just under a month ago, i went on live and everything updated fine, and i can still go on live etc. But reading the feedback of the person i bought it off, it seems they have sold xbox's which have been banned in the past. When i bought this console the seller gave me a 30-day warrenty/refund policy, i have a week left, and want to know if they modified in anyway, and/or it will get banned, because ill get my money back if it has. i dont wanna find out a month down the track it gets banned, and im out of my 30 day warrenty. Yes i did e-mail the seller, but they havent replied to any e-mails. Is this something someone can help me with?

It's been my experience that if you purchase a second-hand console, if it's been banned, you'll know as soon as you connect to LIVE. Also, the last update had a system that would catch console modifications. If your console survived the update, and you can play on live now, I wouldnt worry about it.
