How to change account so i can download mature content

I currently cannot download demos with mature rating, saying this in a dialogue box. I have done just about everything to make my account accessable to everything but to no avail. It still gives me the message saying that i have a child or teen account when i have clearly changed this to adult. I was at one point a child and had an adult oversee my account, but because i am now 18 i would like to have this part removed so that i can manage my own account and actually be able to download mature content without all of the frustration. Help please.

you need to goto account management on the console and promote the account if it is there

if it is not there and then you must wait till it does usually whatever date you put it as

i dont see the promote area, is there any other way? what date?

If you don't see the option to promote the account from child to adult then it is not 18 years of age yet. Typically the age of your account would be the same as your real life age, providing you did't lie about your birthdate when you created your account.

Hey Fire! The option to promote a child account will be under the Settings Hub > Account. You can also follow the steps found in this guide (forums.xbox.com/.../153165.aspx). Let us know if that helps, thanks!
