I was trying to find this also (like to delete traded in games) but couldn't find the HDD option.. I gather when you go to Your games section on dashboard you push start and it gives you the option to delete that way. But I would like to know how you go about clearing your clach etc.

As of right now Microsoft has not enabled a way to see your hard drive as it is on the list of to do things in the future I'm sure the first thing is getting Dolby Digital going first...and who know if we will ever see the hard drive...Cache probable is getting cleared automatically like on the PC at night if you leave your xbox in the stand by mode and not the Energy mode

BamaKore is correct.  Microsoft has not enabled (and likely will not enable) a way to see your storage space.  Read about it here:

Apparently when the drive starts to get full it suggests stuff for you to delete. There's no real need to delete before then is probably the thinking, and like you say you can use the menu button to delete items early if you wish, but it wouldn't surprise me if they do add something when they sorted out the bigger bugs/issues.

It'd be nice if you could do the external storage thing... Each game seems to require between 20-60GBs of storage... I don't think there's enough space to install all the current games available, let alone the ones in the future.

There is no way of viewing the data on the hdd. The only way to go in and delete stuff is by going to dashboard-my games and apps and there you can choose to delete somethings. Thats as close as we are going to get, as of yet on X1.

As Proven has stated, you need to go to the My Games & Apps section, highlight the item(s) you want to delete, click the Menu button, and then select Uninstall.
