I've had no problems with 3 of my USBs. They are all SanDisk brand. You can get them fairly cheap.

SanDisk make the official Microsoft USB stick, so if you do as Eezak has said you should have no trouble.

I've used both SanDisk and PNY with success....until tonight that is, and I'm getting messages saying that my new 32GB PNY does not meet performance standards. That seems pretty odd to me since I've never had a problem with that brand, even though I have used a PNY that was accidentally put through a washing machine. We'll see if this new one performs alright.

As long as its Fat32 and minimum 1GB and you format it via the 360 a sandisk should do you fine, Maybe its not USB 2.0 ?

I found a few links of people compiling their own lists of compatible usb drives.  I'm not sure how reliable they are and they all seem to be from a few years ago but it might be worth a look:

Hey everyone.

Before posting we should take note of the date of the previous post, before posting ourselves. It is always best to create our own thread than too bump a 2 year old one up. Thanks.
