How do I disable the 4GB Memory in my XBOX S after installing 320BG Hard Drive?

I do not want to have to select it over and over again.

Any updates on this as of 06.18.2012?

Sorry Frank, There is no way of disabling the 4GB Memory so You will just need to put up with selecting your Hard Drive as Storage each time it pops up.

It's not a HDD. The 4GB console has an internal 4GB USB memory unit attached to the motherboard. There is no provision in place to allow for its removal or deactivation.

Will there ever be a provision in place; do you know if anyone is working on this to possibly add this feature in the near future?

May be worth posting it in the suggestions forum if it's something you would like to see. My profile and saves are on a USB stick so the option is of little use to me.
