How do i change my live id?

Well this is the case.

I got 2 profiles in xbox live and the one that i use all the time has my wife's win live id and the one that i dont use has my win live id. A couple of years ago when i got xbox live my wife's credit card worked and not mine så i used her card and win live id and then when i got my card working i tried to fix it but i never managed to do it so i've been using my card and everything except it is on her windows live id. Now i would like to change from her win live id to mine in the profile that i use and delete the other profile. I guess i have to delete the profile i never use to get my email available to change to my used profile?

How should i do to fix that?

I hope you understand what i mean with my poor english :)
